Where, exactly is the new airport and what hotels are close?

We%26#39;re flying out of Indy at the end of the month. It%26#39;s been 2 years since we%26#39;ve been to the airport. I know they built a new one, but have no idea where it%26#39;s located. We%26#39;re driving in from Cincinnati and need a place to spend the night. Directions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Where, exactly is the new airport and what hotels are close?

The new airport is west of the old one. I assume from Cincinnati you will be coming up I-74. When you get to I-465 take it south/west to I-70 west. The new airport is the first exit off I-70 (exit 68). Just follow the signs off the exit. There are many inexpensive motels off I-465 (Beech Grove, US 31 south exits) only 15-20 minute drive to the airport. We flew out of the new airport in early December and the place is awesome.

New terminal, same runways, etc. The new terminal is at the west end of the airport, the old terminal was at the easat end of the airport.

The new terminal is just west of the old. From I 465 take I 70 west about a mileand follow the signs. About 1-2 miles west of the new terminal is the Plainfiled exit, (State Road 267) There are several hotels there and plenty of food, even a winery. Some of those hotels over park and ride deals
