hampton inn

does anyone have any info on the hampton inn corydon in. i am going to the kentucky derby and i am thinking about staying in indiana. i have previously stayed in louisville, but have found the rooms are double and triple the normal rates at this time.is churchill downs easy to get to from corydon? any info would be greatly appeciated. thanks steve

I%26#39;ve never stayed at this Hampton Inn, but Corydon is a cute little town with lots of history. Used to be the Indiana state capitol. It should be about 45 minutes from the track, but I%26#39;m sure traffic will lengthen that. For more track info post on the Louisville forum. Have fun.

Just thought of another idea. You could drive up Interstate 65 north of Louisville %26amp; stay along there in Scottsburg. www.scottsburgindiana.com/travel/hotels.html

Whatever you decide, make sure you have reservations.

Hi. I%26#39;ve not stayed there- driven past it though.. I%26#39;ve stayed though at the Holiday Inn just 2 maybe 3 blocks down from it - becuase it was like $30.00 cheaper...

I am a big Hampton Inn person, but I just couldn%26#39;t do it. :)

My brother and his wife live in Corydon and so when I visit I rent a room.

They both though are fine options..

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn Corydon and enjoyed our stay. There is also a restaurant in Levenworth,In on the Ohio River that is very nice to eat at. Can%26#39;t remember the name but I am sure the hotel can give you directions.
