Green Line to Downtown from Airport

Wondering if anyone has taken the ';green line'; bus and could say that it is truly an express to downtown. I don%26#39;t want to get on a bus that is a ';shuttle';, stopping at many places along the way.

The website says the estimated travel time is only 15 minutes to downtown from the airport. I%26#39;m arriving on a Friday at 4:30, so I know there will be some rush-hour traffic delays.

Would it be easier to just take a taxi?

Take either a taxi or book Carey limousine service, do the share a ride and it should end up being cheaper than a taxi.

the time of 15 minutes would most likely be all interstate until downtown is reached. That is just a guess.

Thanks. I waited awhile for Carey last year, so I think I%26#39;ll just get a cab. Hope it won%26#39;t be too cold in a couple of weeks.

Even at the worst rush hour in Indy the trip should only be 30 minutes max. The weather forcast for Indy this week is temps in the 50%26#39;s starting today (Sat.). Might be rainy/cloudy but a lot better than the 15 inches of snow we%26#39;ve had on the ground this past week with 20 degree temps! Have fun in Indy, I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll enjoy the downtown area here

At 15 minutes---it has to be a ';true'; express. Rush hour traffic at that time of day will be going the other direction. Go for it!

I live in downtown Indy and have taken the Green Line. We walk from the nearest hotel home. We%26#39;re kind of a spectacle carrying our luggage, but oh well. It is well worth it.

The shuttle is definitely ';express'; - no additional stops other than the hotels listed. The bus is a nice shuttle bus as well, not the standard bus that you see around the city. The only time we take Carey now is when our flights leave prior to 7am. Then we must take the limo. But cost-wise, the Green Line can%26#39;t be beat!
