Hello .. my family ( we have 2 teenagers, one boy, one girl) will be visiting the Vevay area soon.. any ideas on something to do while we are there? We are going to visit and tour KY Speedway which is very close...anything else? In KY, IN or nearby OH for fun? Thanks

The adults might like the Belterra Casino. (Sorry kids.) If the weather%26#39;s good you might want to drive over to Clifty Falls State Park in Madison. Lots of trails %26amp; waterfalls. The town of Madison is fun too, with lots of little shops along the main street. Make sure %26amp; check out the beautiful old historic buildings in Vevay as well. We also enjoyed watching the barges navigate the nearby lock %26amp; dam on the Kentucky side, but that may not excite the teenagers. Whatever you do, have fun.

Thanks for the info.. we do like Clifty Falls.. ( been there one time and want to go back and spend more time!)... the Locks sound interesting. Thanks for the info you shared!

If horseback riding interests you, try the First Farm Inn near Idlewild KY. My daughter and I went last summer and had a great time. It%26#39;s not the typical horse rental experience - you actually get to control your own horse and trot or canter if you like.

I just posted this, but I took teenagers to the Freedom Center and they really liked it. It is pretty interactive and not in a little-kid way.
