Things to do in or around Jeffersonville

I am taking my husband to a B%26amp;B in Jeffersonville for a weekend getaway for our anniversary in July. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I looked at the Star dinner cruises but they seemed pricey...is it worth it? Is there a good romantic restaurant close that anyone can recommend?

There is a casino boat called Ceasars right across the river, it has a nice luxury hotel, lots of great resturants in it, and good entertainment. I think you and your hubby would love it there.

Jeffersonville is a great little town with a wonderful historic shopping district, Spring Street. Also close by on the river is some great restaurants with wonderful view of the river and city of Louisville, besides having good food! The Falls of the Ohio State Park is a great outdoor experience where you can explore the fossil beds!

There is also Madison, IN not too far from Jeff. There are sevral wineries in the area. Check out Huber Winery for the nicest treatment. The whole staff there is great

I live in Jeff and highly recommend The Come Back Inn as a small, timeless Italian restaurant. Walking along the river is quite scenic. Ice cream at the Widow%26#39;s Walk provides a view of downtown Louisville.
