Transport from FWA to Warsaw

Hi

Just wondering how to get from FWA to Warsaw without hiring a car? Are there any shuttle services available or buses?

Thanks!

I think you may have posted to the wrong forum. You are in the Warsaw, Indiana, USA forum. Did you want the Warsaw Poland forum?

No, I%26#39;m in the right place, I do mean Warsaw Indiana! I need to get from the Fort Wayne airport to Warsaw and back again a couple days later. Anyway, I found a company called A1 Limousines %26amp; Taxis that will do the transfer, couldn%26#39;t find a shuttle service as such.

Sorry, my mistake. I just didn%26#39;t think that Warsaw, Indiana received very many international visitors. I hope you enjoy your trip to Indiana.

Going by the lack of useful information I%26#39;ve been able to find on Warsaw I would have to agree that it probably doesn%26#39;t get too many international visitors!! (or visitors of any kind...).

I will be there for work, although if you can suggest anything to do while in Warsaw I would appreciate it as I will likely have a bit of spare time.

Glad you made transport arrangements, as we do not have much in terms of public transportation in Fort Wayne, let alone in the smaller towns around here.

When is your trip? If the weather is warmer you could visit a lovely area called Winona Lake, adjacent to Warsaw. It is basically an artists community with shops and boutiques and a very nice restaurant, Cerulean. The village is open year-round, it would just be more pleasant to amble about in the spring.

There is a small theatre venue, Wagon Wheel, that hosts plays and concerts. This is not Broadway mind you, but the intimate productions are usually enjoyable ;-)

You have a few mediocre chain restaurant options and a couple local flavors, but unfortunately it%26#39;s not a wide variety. Truly meat and potatoes. Not to discourage you, just to prepare you.

If renting a car is an option for you, the drive to and from Fort Wayne is an easy one, under 45 mins, and there are entertainment options and plenty of diverse dining. Also, if you have whole days to spare, Chicago is only 2 1/2 hours drive from Warsaw.

Here are some links that might be helpful. And while this about exhausts my knowledge of Warsaw, if you have any more questions I will try to find the answers for you.

Cerulean is very nice, as is Noa Noa. I%26#39;d definitely recommend both of them.

Doug, who is probably going to have to take my 92 year old dad to TGIF in Warsaw when I come over in a few days from the UK (leaving dogs and wife behind, sadly).

So, yet another international visitor to Warsaw!

Thanks for that information :-) I think I%26#39;ll try to head to the lake even though it will be winter when I am there. Looks like some neat shops there.

Cheers
