notre dame football
Hey. Since no one has answered you and St. Patrick%26#39;s Day has not happened, there won%26#39;t be any football. Our football season is usually August/September through Nov/Dec (hopefully January).
Check out Mitch%26#39;s bar on Ironwood. He is an old friend of mine and he knows how to party. Haven%26#39;t been to his bar yet, as I moved away before he opened it. But, it has to be good.

Most universities have their spring holiday for a week in March, hope ND isn%26#39;t on vacation when you go visit South Bend!
How were you planning to get from Chicago to South Bend??? Only way I know to get there is to drive.
Actually, if I remember correctly, ND is almost always on spring break during St. Patrick%26#39;s Day and the bars are usually dead except for locals. The bars will still be busy on the weekends.
I forgot to be more specific about Mitch%26#39;s. Ironwood is a long road. It it between Edison and 23.
Spring break for ND is March 7-15th. No football until the Blue/Gold game on April 18th. The campus is a great place to visit.
South Bend also is home to the College Football Hall of Fame if that interests you.
As far as bars go you can do much better than Mitchs...try Legends on the ND campus, The Linebacker, Corbys or Fiddlers Hearth.
