Downtown Nightlife - Nicky Blaine's?

I was thinking Nicky Blaine%26#39;s would be a neat place to hang out until I read some really bad reviews. Is the place as bad as they say?

Also, I haven%26#39;t seen many reviews of Howl at the Moon, any thoughts?

I%26#39;ll be in town next weekend (14th).

I haven%26#39;t heard any bad about Blaine%26#39;s. Howl at the Moon is a piano bar where they have ';dueling'; pianos. What type of place are you thinking of? Quiet? Loud? Dancing?

So many bars to chosse from if you don%26#39;t like one move on to another. I suggest The Slippery Noodle for great live blues scene and food. Highly recommend. Never been to Nicky Blaine%26#39;s. Enjoy!

I%26#39;ve been to Nicky Blaine%26#39;s a couple of times. I thought it was a very nice place to have a martini with friends. I liked the seating areas with couches that made it feel more cozy than the typical bar. You might as well try it, and if you don%26#39;t like it, there are a lot of other places within walking distance. The Slippery Noodle is a great suggestion, and it is only few blocks south of Nicky Blaine%26#39;s,
