Adopting in Fort Wayne Need an Extended Stay Hotel 2 weeks

We are flying down to Fort Wayne the last week in Jan 2009 to adopt a new baby girl. The Indiana adoption rules make you stay in the state for 2 weeks before the adoption becomes official.

Any suggestions on affordable place to stay in Fort Wayne. Extended Stay hotels with a kitchen might be a good option. Any help would be appreciated.

Congratulations on your new baby girl!

I haven%26#39;t stayed in these in Fort Wayne, so I can%26#39;t comment on their quality, but here are a couple of websites that should help.

Hello,

I am orginally from Fort Wayne- I would recommend the Residence Inn (Southwest location) see the rating%26#39;s posted for it or Hilton Garden Inn (US 24 West) location. The southwest location is a nice area of town. It is considered Aboite township the area keeps growing with nice shopping stores and outlet mall, nice restaurants and homes. The Residence Inn - Southwest is newer than the Residence Inn north location (Lima road/Hwy 3)the north location is decent but dated compared to the Southwest Residence Inn. Avoid any hotels on Coliseum Blvd such as Days Inn, Redroof Inn, Quality Hotel- W coliseum locations- they are close to strip joints, crime/drug crimes and shootings! Further down Coliseum Blvd (30 East) close to the Memorial Coliseum there is a NEW Holiday Inn Express it just opened within the last couple of months- I don%26#39;t know the exact address it is suppose to be really nice.(I don%26#39;t think they have a kitchen though) the Holiday Inn Express listed on tripadvisor is not the new one though you will have to call them to get info for the new one. You might also check out (google?) Cantebury Green Apartments- years ago they did short term/corporate stay furnished apartment rental. (I don%26#39;t know if they still do that but they are decent and in a good location of town) Also if you like Italian food be sure to eat at any of the Casa d%26#39;Angelo restaurants! Reasonable and very good! Hope this info helps! Congratulations on your new baby girl! There is a Babies R Us Store in town too! Close to Glenbrook Mall on Coliseum Blvd.

Here is the info for the new Holiday Inn Express:

Holiday Inn Fort Wayne IPFW %26amp; Coliseum

4111 Paul Shaffer Drive. Sorry but I don%26#39;t have a phone number.

The Holiday Inn is brand new. It opened in the last couple of months. It is located near several restuarants and the mall. It would be a great choice.

The Hilton Garden would also be a great choice. I have stayed there and it is very nice. They have a great lobby with a fire place.

If you are going to be staying for a couple of weeks you must rent a car. Taxis in Fort Wayne are very expensive. On top of that, Fort Wayne is very wide spread.

We like the Hilton Garden Inn in southwest Ft. Wayne as well. They do not have a kitchen, but a microwave %26amp; mini-fridge help. There are groceries %26amp; places to eat out all around %26amp; the neighborhood is safe. Congratulations!

My family and I are coming to Memorial Coliseum for an event and I have been looking for a hotel. I noticed a Stabridge Suites within 7 miles. We stayed at one in Tennessee and it was wonderful. I%26#39;ll be checking out this one.
