We are bringing a group of Scouts to Paoli Peaks for a President%26#39;s Day weekend ski/snowboard trip. Can anyone tell me if there are other places to rent equipment near Paoli (not on site)? We are actually staying in Mitchell, IN (coming in from Nashville) so any options near there or on the way would be appreciated.
Any other suggestions for things to do in the area if the weather turns sour would also be appreciated. Thanks!

With Indiana not being a big ski mecca, I would probably doubt if you would be able to find any other rental place than at Paoli Peaks. Mitchell has one of my favorite state parks, Spring Mill State Park, there. There is a pioneer village with a working grist mill(not sure if it would be running in winter) and a small Gus Grissom (Mercury astronaut from Mitchell) museum in the park. There are caves to explore and other activities I%26#39;m sure Scouts would love.
