Autumn activities in Brown County?

Hello,

I%26#39;m relatively new to Indiana and have been recommended Brown County as a great place to visit in the fall. Now that the leaves are peaking, I%26#39;m interested in finding apple/pear orchards where you can pick your own fruit, and places where there are other fun fall activities.

When do you plan on going? Prime apple season is thru the end of Oct so you don%26#39;t have much time left. I don%26#39;t know of anywhere that has U-Pick pears or what the season is for them.
