Hi, we%26#39;ll be in town tomorrow to see the museum at the speed way and then go to our hotel near the airport. Any suggestions of a good, fun place to eat dinner around that area? Boys are 3 and 6. thanks so much for your suggestions.
good place to eat with young kids, near speedway, airportHonestly I am not that familiar with Speedway and the airport area. I do know that there are a few chain restaurants in Speedway (Steak n Shake, Applebee%26#39;s, etc.) You will be fairly close to Rick%26#39;s Boatyard a bit off 38th St. exit on I-465 on the west side. It%26#39;s child friendly, and overlooks Eagle Creek Reservior. Very nice setting and keeps my son entertained by watching/feeding the ducks. You are also not far from downtown, where there are many more options that are kid friendly. I%26#39;d recommend Rock Bottom and a walk to the Circle. Or for a little more upscale, Harry and Izzy%26#39;s - also has a children%26#39;s menu. It%26#39;s a local restaurant partially owned by Peyton Manning located right off the Circle Center mall.
