Searching for a ';very nice'; place to stay - large suite within close proximity to nightlife - clubs, dancing, etc. Will be going 2/7/09. Possible comedy club, then dance club. Coming from Kentucky, know nothing about Indianapolis, have only passed through when traveling. Due to time of year and weather, am wanting ';nightlife'; within walking distance of hotel if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Bachlorette Party
Multitude of hotels in the downtown area to choose from. Check out indy.org for some more information. It is the Indianapolis convention %26amp; tourists website. There is a comedy club called cracers downtown also. Lots of Bachlorette parties on the weekend. I was in a bar that had three going on at the same time over the summer. Enjoy.

There are many bars/clubs in the downtown Indianapolis area that are within walking distance. That%26#39;s the benefit of Indy vs your other options. There are also some nice restaurants that can handle a larger crowd downtown. I definitely agree there are multitudes of bachelorette parties going on downtown. It%26#39;ll be chilly in February, though, so be prepared! You shouldn%26#39;t have problems finding a hotel to stay. Embassy Suites is in the middle of downtown. Probably the best option for a larger group and connected to the Circle Center mall.
