Newest nicest hotel???

New to stay in South bend for a ocuple night....

newest nicest cleanest...any thoughts ?

Or even a nice resort, place for a couple close to South Bend...won%26#39;t be a football weekend?

Help...where would you stay ?

I%26#39;ve stayed at the Marriott downtown and have no complaints. Good location with museums, concert venues and plenty of restaurants/pubs within walking distance. Reasonable hotel parking. My room was clean and comfortable, just your typical Marriott. Customer service was top notch and the on-site bar has a decent beer selection. Outside of downtown you%26#39;ll find plenty of standard hotel (and restaurant) chains at nearly every highway exit.

I like the Marriott Residence Inn in Mishawaka. They have a great hot breakfast, free and safe parking, and I think are relatively new construction. Very close to restaurants and shopping (in case you need anything).

I live in the area. A new Hyatt Place just opened in Mishawaka. I haven%26#39;t stayed there, but have stayed in several others in Indiana and have always had a good experience. Another idea is the Varsity Club in Mishawaka. It%26#39;s a neat place. Both are near restaurants and shopping.

Well drove into SB on southside and on Hwy 31 a BRAND new Comfort Suites and it was wonderful. All new and clean.....nice surprise. I would highly recommend it.
