I%26#39;m fairly new at attending the race. With a parking pass, I%26#39;ve expected to have and easier time getting in, but the traffic congestion has made it difficult at best. I have noticed that a number of cars are escorted into the area. Is this a service? If so, how do I take advantage of it?

Unless you are a dignitary/celebrity, are part of a group that has secured an escort - you will have sit in line with everyone else. A parking pass will get you into a designated lot - but will not help get through the traffic. Best bet is to get there EARLY.
